Johanna Barrabee has been an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist since 2005.  She earned a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Penn State University and an M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from Montclair State University.  She has experience working with children in Early Intervention, outpatient hospital setting and school setting.  She is passionate about supporting minimally speaking children and assisting families and students in using AAC devices for better communication.

Johanna has been a true friend to Carson’s Cookie Dough from day one. As a speech-language pathologist, her practical advice and thoughtful feedback have strengthened the way we support our team, because clear communication sits at the heart of effective accommodations and successful work. We’re deeply grateful for Johanna’s guidance and her ongoing support.We are also inspired by her daughter Charlotte and her Girl Scout Troop.  They created sensory bags for Carson’s Cookie Dough and other locations across Bergen County. The Girl Scouts partnered with our team to choose items that would be genuinely helpful, and their kindness is already making a difference for people they may never meet.
